Trying to find an internship during a pandemic was a lot more difficult than I had expected. I am extremely fortunate to have found a company like WynHouse Software to help me further improve my professional skills.

This is the first question I asked. I’m not going to lie, before I started at WynHouse, I had no clue what a software development agency was or did. What sets WHS apart from other companies?
While job searching, I was originally trying to find a position for the summer of 2021 so that it would not interfere with my spring and fall semesters at The University of Toledo. Then, when I met with Evan Marsh and Joey Prochaska from WynHouse Software, they offered me a part-time position that I would be able to handle along with classes at the same time. This kind of flexibility simply would not have been an option at any other company.
As a full-time college student, there is nothing more I appreciate from an employer than flexibility. Along with my part-time schedule, they also work around the time I need for classes and other on-campus responsibilities. Without WynHouse Software, there is no way I would have been able to gain internship experience during the academic year.
How's it going so far?
I have been working part-time at WynHouse for about two months now. What stands out the most to me is the type of atmosphere that WHS provides. Our team includes eleven individuals from four different states. I personally prefer smaller work environments where I get the opportunity to make relationships with each of my coworkers. Each individual that I have collaborated with thus far has been extremely helpful and understanding. I could not have asked for a better transition into this internship. The best part? I am able to experience this positive atmosphere even from a distance. Getting the option to work from home or in the office is the perfect fit for me.
