Engineers are dependent on other disciplines to complete their design. When design changes arise for one discipline, other disciplines must respond and adjust their deliverables accordingly.
MTI discovered an opportunity to improve the productivity of engineers while driving better client outcomes: a digital tool for engineers’ design documentation workflows. Initial searches for a solution illuminated a major operations and adoption hurdle. Implementing a pre-existing solution would require reconstructing engineers’ well-established workflows.
WynHouse and MTI partnered to create product roadmap and project execution plan to develop a engineering data management platform. Relating functional requirements and business requirements, WynHouse measured the impact of the product on key financial metrics.
WynHouse and MTI were able to engage product development with a firm-fixed price estimate.
